The Sharing and Learning workshop on Non-Formal Vocational Training Courses, 23-24 January, NFEDC-Km8

The meeting was jointly organized by DVV International and GIZ-VELA through cooperation with Ministry of Education and Sports, Department of Technical Vocational Education. There were 34 participants from 11 IVETS from the Northern, Middle and Southern provinces in the country, Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Skills Development Center, Department concerned in MOES, DVV International and GIZ-VELA. The meeting chaired by the Director of DVV International and the Director General of the Department of Technical Vocational Education.  The purpose of two days meeting is to introduce of Non-Formal Vocational Courses, the concept, the outcomes so far, and sharing of experiences from the implementation in the IVET schools. During the meeting there were interesting exchanges on how to choose the target villages, to select the training courses, to select target groups, how to evaluate the trainings, lesson learnt from the training for villagers, to suggest the project how to improve in the future, to ensure the participation of women group, and the training needed for the trainers and administrative officers of the project.The meeting was jointly organized by DVV International and GIZ-VELA through cooperation with Ministry of Education and Sports, Department of Technical Vocational Education.
