Thursday, 7th December 2017 at Phnom Penh Hotel in Phnom Penh, DVV International Cambodia held its Second Semester Partner Reflection Workshop. Representatives from the Department of Non Formal Education (DNFE), NGO Educational Partnership (NEP), Non Timber Forest Products (NTFP), Youth for Peace (YFP) and Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) reunited altogether in a dynamic and interesting day of reporting achievements and lesson learned.
The goal of the workshop was to update all partners about the activities implemented throughout 2017 and to finalise the planning of next year.
After the concept of Lifelong Learning was remarked as focal point for partners, networking and equal opportunity, the LLL Chain was given as gift to all participants. The necklace is an useful tool, developed by the Community Center of the German city of Aachen (www.vhs-aachen.de) and produced by Lao Disabled Women's Development Center, for explaining the concept of Lifelong Learning. Following the presentation, all partners had one hour time to expose their activities and results achieved in 2017: the outcome is very satisfying because all goals planned have been met and reached the expected results, as financial reports and indicators submitted to DVV International have showed. Partners are glad to continue their cooperation with DVV International on the activities agreed in February 2017.
In the second part of the workshop, DVV International Country Director led the meeting through an overview of the due annual report for 2017 and the coming activities for 2018-20, as part of the general plan of DVV International Regional Office for Southeast Asia. The workshop was concluded with a group picture that was given to all participant as a thanks for their cooperation and support.
