The conference is held on 27th June 2016, at Thalath quest house, Vientiane province and organized by Department of Non-formal Education, Ministry of Education and Sports which is supported by the DVV International Regional Office, Vientiane, Laos. The meeting brought together more than 50 officials from various departments of MOES, representatives of Provincial Education and Sports Service from all over the country, including from DVV International. HE Lytou Bouapao, Deputy Minister is invited to attend and chaired the meeting.
The preparation draft of LLL policy here is the third time where the third draft shall be presented. Dr. Zenaida T. Domingo is an advisor who was working closely and assisted the Department of Non-formal Education in developing the National Lifelong Learning strategy of Lao PDR. , she presented her last third draft to the meeting and after that is the working group discussion.
The results of three working groups which there are some changes and recommendations are submitted to the draft. All participants agreed and adapted to the final draft which will be checked and edit again before sending it to the minister board in begin of July.
