In October, representatives from 95 countries met in the city of Suwon, Republic of Korea, to discuss the improvements and challenges of Adult Learning and Education (ALE). The CONFINTEA mkid-Term conference was organized by UNESCO to take stock and decide about recommendation concerning the part ALE can play in reaching the Sustainible Development goals. The Lao delegation was chaired by Deputy-Minister Dr Khamphay Sisavanh.
