This is the second time for this year that DVV International Regional Office in Vientiane organized the Sharing and Learning Workshop. These are informal and flexible meetings, invitations were sent to various partners of the Regional Office. In the session we had two presentations from our colleagues. The first presentation by Ms Surabhi Singh, Didi Bahini, Nepal and Ms Dokkham Xomsihapanya, Project Manager, DVV International on “Income generation in Community Learning Centers – Good practices from Nepal and Lao PDR”, and the second presented by Mr Khanthong Inthanchak, Project Manager, DVV International Laos on “Flexible Learning Strategies for out of School Children and Youth”, lessons learnt from a UNESCO conference in Bangkok. After each presentation we had dialogue and the questions and answers for discussion what we had learn from them. How can we implement it to our work in Lao PDR? On main point mentioned from the participants was about how we can make Community Learning Center (CLC) sustainable that’s what we have to learn from the first presentation and most of the participants interested on this issue. At the beginning of the events we also have chance to show the winner film from Vientianale 2016 film festival.
